I KNOW
The angel showed me the holy city, coming down out of heaven from God.
It was shining with the glory of God.
It was shining bright like a very expensive jewel. It was clear as crystal.
The city was made of pure gold, as pure as glass.
The street of the city was made of pure gold.
The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it.
The glory of God is its light, and the Lamb is the city’s lamp.
The city’s gates will never be shut on any day, because there is no night there.
Nothing unclean will ever enter the city.
No one who does shameful things or tells lies will ever go into it.
Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life will enter the city.

One of the most important things we can learn as children of God (regardless of how old we are in the natural) is to be absolutely confident in our salvation. From the moment you decide to give your heart to Jesus, the enemy of your soul (that nasty serpent of old, the devil) will begin laying the ground work for an attack to steal the seed of the word from your heart. Jesus said the devil only comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) and his primary mission is to steal that incorruptible seed that took root in your heart at that moment. He can’t kill it. He can’t corrupt it. The only play he has is to steal it away from you.
The only way he can you that is if we don’t protect it!
How do we protect it? I’m glad you asked!!
We protect it by building our faith (confidence) in the truth that it is ours, that our Father God wants us to have it, that Jesus suffered a horrible, brutal death on a cross so that we would be able to receive the precious seed of HIS LIFE that now lives and abides in us. As we grow more confident in that Love and realize it was ALWAYS His intention and purpose for us to live forever with Him in a beautiful place without sin, shame, darkness or pain, we become very, very difficult targets for the enemy.
So become CONFIDENT in what he has done for you! Become CERTAIN of His passionate love for you! And KNOW beyond any question that YOUR NAME is once and for all eternity written (or permanently etched) in the Lamb’s book of Life!
